The Curan Plain is a catheter that offers a potential solution for men and women with bladder problems. A doctor or specialist will decide if intermittent catheterisation with this catheter is suitable for you. There is a difference between Curan Plain Lady and Curan Plain Man. The Curan Plain catheters are smooth, uncoated and free from phthalates. They can be inserted without irritation thanks to the smooth polished eyelets. In increase the ease of insertion, these catheters can also be supplied with a hydrogel coating upon request.

Comfortable to use

Ready to use straightaway

Curan Man is easily opened thanks to the transparent cap with extra grip. And apart from the necessary hygienic preparations, there is very little preparation required. That’s what we mean by ‘ready to use straightaway’.

Blue Grip® insertion aid

Curan developed the Blue Grip®, a handy insertion aid, so that a catheter can be inserted without skin contact. This is more hygienic and significantly decreases the chance of infection. It’s also practical: it makes inserting the Curan Man a little bit easier.

Compact and discreet design

Folded, the Curan Man is just 15 cm. This means it’s easy to discreetly carry your catheter around with you in your jacket, bag or pocket. You won’t even know you’ve got it with you. The packaging has been developed so that it doesn’t make any noise when opening and closing it. So you can always be discreet, wherever you are.

Irritation- and discomfort-free insertion

Curran Man has smooth polished eyelets so that insertion is reliable, comfortable and painless, without risk and irritation. The smooth hydrogel coating, which is guaranteed to be leak free, makes it easier to insert and ensures that there are no splashes or drips during insertion and removal of the catheter.

Hygienic during and after use

It might not be possible to dispose of the Curan Man immediately after use. If so, this catheter has been developed so that, after use, it can be re-closed to remain leak-free. And with the help of the clip, the Curan Man can be kept safely and taken away.
